How I Help You Build a Securely Attached Relationship

If you love each other but keep getting pulled into the same patterns of conflict, distance, pursuit, or withdrawal, attachment-based couples therapy can help you understand what's happening underneath them.

  • Identify your relationship cycle — Understand the patterns that keep pulling you into conflict, distance, or disconnection.

  • Recognize your attachment triggers — Learn what activates fears of rejection, abandonment, criticism, or not being enough.

  • Understand what’s underneath the conflict — Move beyond the surface argument to the emotions, needs, and longings beneath it.

  • Communicate from vulnerability instead of protection — Learn to express hurt, fear, and needs without criticism, defensiveness, or withdrawal.

  • Create emotional safety — Build greater trust that you can turn toward each other during difficult moments.

  • Learn to respond instead of react — Slow down automatic patterns and develop new ways of engaging when emotions run high.

  • Repair after disconnection — Learn how to reconnect after arguments, misunderstandings, and emotional injuries.

  • Become more emotionally available to each other — Practice reaching for and responding to one another with greater openness and care.

  • Strengthen trust and intimacy — Create a relationship where both partners feel seen, valued, wanted, and understood.

  • Build a secure bond — Develop confidence that you can depend on each other while still having room to grow as individuals.

I’m Jeanie

I help couples move beyond recurring conflict, rebuild trust, and create deeper emotional connection through honest, meaningful conversations.

I work best with couples who want an active, attuned therapist who will engage deeply rather than simply listen from the sidelines. My approach blends emotional depth with a transpersonal perspective, viewing relationships as a powerful space for growth, healing, and greater self-awareness. Together, we slow things down, explore vulnerability, and create space for more conscious and meaningful ways of relating.

Attachment therapy can help you

learn how you protect yourself in relationships.

My Approach

Relationships have a way of activating our deepest attachment needs. What looks like an argument about chores, money, sex, or parenting is often about something deeper—feeling rejected, alone, unseen, or unsure if you can depend on each other. Couples therapy helps you slow these moments down, understand the cycle you're caught in, and begin creating a more secure bond.

My work is rooted in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and attachment theory. Together, we explore the attachment needs, fears, and protective patterns shaping how you reach for—or pull away from—each other, creating new pathways toward emotional safety, trust, intimacy, and connection.

I also bring a transpersonal perspective, viewing relationships as opportunities for healing and growth. Our closest relationships often bring old wounds to the surface while inviting us to become more vulnerable, trusting, and emotionally available. Your relationship can become a place where both partners experience greater security while continuing to grow as individuals.

I welcome monogamous, polyamorous, open, LGBTQIA+, and transitioning partnerships. Whether you're navigating recurring conflict, disconnection, intimacy, trust, or major life transitions, our work helps you build a relationship where you can turn toward each other, feel secure in your connection, and grow together.
