Medicine-Making Dream Shabbat

About

Join us as we honor the divine feminine by tapping into the power of dream, community, and ritual. In the intimacy of the group, we will learn the power of dreaming for ourselves, each other, and the collective. Through ceremony, ritual, and working through the process of harvesting, brewing, consumption, and reciprocity with Mugwort, we will create a container for profound dreams to come through.

Our women’s dream retreat will be an opportunity to quietly and consciously withdraw into the world of nature, plants, community, ritual, shabbat, and dreaming as a sacred practice. You will be guided in the process of ethically harvesting your own dream medicine, Mugwort, from the grounds of our property. We will intentionally brew Mugwort tea to enhance our dreaming and make Mugwort smudging sticks in a ritualistic way. In the evenings, we will conduct a dream ceremony to call in a dream for guidance and healing, and in the mornings, we will engage in group facilitated dream work to gain clarity and guidance from our dreams. At the closing of our retreat, we will provide an offering to the Mugwort patch on our land, thanking the Mugwort for being an ally in our ultimate expansion and healing.

About Mugwort

Dreamy mugwort is a beautiful and feminine plant ally that helps us realign with natural cycles–whether that be our digestive functioning, our sleep cycles, menstrual cycles, spiritual cycles in our lives, and the wise cycling of nature. Mugwort teaches us how to keep energy moving within us where we may feel stagnant, traumatized, or out of harmony. Mugwort also has an affinity for the dream world and inducing vivid dreams and dream recall. We will be working with mugwort as a dream herb to help us make contact with our inner wisdom as we sleep, and we will pair her medicine with intentional dream ceremonies and circles throughout the weekend.
